In a few paragraphs, choose one of the psychiatric disorders covered in this module and appearing in your current clinical setting. (Depressive disorders, schizophrenia spectrum disorders and psychotic disorders, bipolar and mood disorders and mood disorders, anxiety and obsessive and compulsive related disorders.) Provide an in-depth discussion of the patient’s presenting problem, psychiatric history and all pertinent information to make an argument for an accurate DSM-5 diagnosis. Additionally, suggest appropriate non-pharmacological and pharmacological therapies and provide rationale for these clinical decisions.
