For this activity, you will plan a three-day PD for one of your online communities (for example, teachers) on teaching/learning models. You will select one teaching/learning model (Use the learning theories that we already learned). Your PD needs to mention the teaching/learning model you are using and how it principles are being use to structure the PD for each activity.
Your plan should have the following components:

Complete a “Needs Assessment” to determine the kind of PD most needed in your district or Online community. This can be accomplished by evaluating any of the following data.
Choose something you have access to for your district. Use the LousianaBelieves website if you are not a teacher or do not have access to your school’s information, as an example. Some of these may not apply to your workshop. However, make sure to include the necessary data.

Once you have analyzed the information available to you, copy and paste the data you used to make your analysis into your paper and provide the results of your “Needs Assessment” in narrative or tabular format. Identify the need(s) you plan to meet with your PD. Identify a specific grade level and subject target, if applicable. Be sure to address how the planned PD will meet the needs as identified in the Needs Assessment.
Based on the “Needs Assessment” findings, develop a PD Action Plan that includes goals, objectives, activities, and assessments for each of the three days that will meet the identified needs.
Create a description/schedule of your PD across the three days and include the following elements:
Participant description (who does your PD target?)
Speaker names/topics (these can be fictional)
Topic descriptions
Use of models or modeling
Activity descriptions for each topic. Use Active Learning Strategies.
Include a list of materials needed.
List and describe products created by participants during the PD.
