The overall title on the title page and on the page where the body begins is centered AND in bold) and the following information is considered to be connected to this heading /topic.The introduction introduces the topic and indicates the thesis. Only for the argument paper is the thesis located at the end of the introductory paragraph or paragraphs.
After this the text is divided into major levels. Think of these as the main Roman Numerals in an outline form(I, II, III, IV). The titles could be history of the topic, types, benefits, problems, and discussion or conclusion.
A paragraph to indicate the purpose of this section begins after this heading. When the topic needs to be divided again (think of it as using the A, B, C, … in the outline format) , the heading is flush against the left margin and bolded. It indicates a subset of the centralized title. This left margin heading is alone on this line, and the following paragraphs will be indented and follow. This heading is on a line by itself. When a different topic is introduced and falls under the noun heading , it will again be placed flush against the left margin and underlined/italicized.
This shows the various parts of the paper. There is one more division, but we will wait until the research paper to learn this.

The main body of this paper will begin on the second page. Add a title on this page. The first paragraph will inform the audience of the topic. At least four sentences are required. Then the various headings will follow as centered and against the left margin.
**The word References will be centered on the last page. The list of sources will be alphabetized and arranged in the correct format. The book or OWL pages will help you format correctly. For this paper you can use at least one internet source and one more reliable source from the library.
