Common App Prompt: discuss an accomplishment, event or realization that sparked

Common App Prompt: discuss an accomplishment, event or realization that sparked a period of personal growth and a new understanding of yourself or others. I have attached three drafts of essays he has written to give you a background on him and his resume. His current common app essay makes him sound too entitled and does not sound like something he would write. The essay needs to find a more clear theme and focus on answering the prompt question. He also wants to talk about his ability to connect with people not sure if that can be weaved in.
