This assignment entails the development of a PowerPoint Presentation (PPP) on the impact of unethical research on participants, researchers, and practice. Particularly, include a discussion on how international and federal regulations were changed or could be changed in order to protect research participants from vulnerable and diverse populations. Under the ‘notes’ section of each slide, please write your narration. Please note that no voiceover or narration is required for this assignment. Introductory slide with at least 3 presentation objectives (one slide)
Discuss the Belmont Report and WMA Declaration of Helsinki and its impact on advanced practice nursing research and dissemination of results? (two slides)
Discuss how international and federal regulations were modified or could be changed to protect research participants from vulnerable and diverse populations (two slides)
Provide your facility or prior place of employment policy on ethics in the healthcare setting (two slides)
o Discuss what you would include and/or change in the policy within the construct of diversity, equity, and inclusion lens.
Provide two examples of unethical research on participants, researchers, and practice per the readings and/or other reliable electronic sources/peer-reviewed journals (four slides)
Conclusion (one slide)
o Provide a brief concluding statement
