Every business faces ethical issues. There are various ethical theories that may be considered in order to address and resolve such issues. One theory may work better than another, however. In this assignment, you will describe and analyze a business’s ethical issue and make a recommendation to remediate.
Research one of the following businesses, which have faced major ethical issues in the past:
Walmart
Ford Motor Company
Levi Strauss & Co.
Nike
Note: If you prefer to research a different business, make sure to get approval from your instructor.
Write a 700- to 1,050-word analysis about the business’s ethical issue.
Include the following in your paper, using the bullet point topics as subject headings:
A brief description of the business
An explanation of the ethical issue and how it evolved in the business
A description of 3 ethical theories
An analysis of how the ethical issue would be resolved under each ethical theory and the outcome for the business
A recommendation for the best overall approach to the ethical issue by the business, citing any ethical theory that would support your recommended approach
Format your assignment according to APA guidelines.
Include at least 3 scholarly references in your paper.
