My chosen artwork is “The Milkmaid” by Johannes Vermeer and I have attached the document on the notes I have thus far. I also provided the reading I linked my presentation too. Add more information about the artists and the inspiration of the artwork and talk about how it is not a real life artwork but it is of the situations that were going on during the time. Notes from Professor: Can be improved by doing more research, and thinking more in depth about the chosen work. The connection with the context of production as well as with other ideas and notions explored in class would have also been beneficial (for instance class and labor together with gender would be a good place where to start).
