1. Use one or more of the following concepts to analyze the film
structure and agency
sociological imagination
possible problems with the approach
Define the concept or concepts you have chosen for the discussion. For example, if you choose “structure and agency” define structure and agency first. Then, discuss how the concepts apply to the film. Another example, if you choose the sociological imagination, define the sociological imagination first. Then apply it’s main components to the film.
NOTE: you do not have to analyze the whole film for this discussion. Use the parts of the film that you see as most relevant to your chosen concept. The length does not matter as much as the content.
