In the form of a video blog, discuss who are the heroes, villains, and victims of this story? Who are we encouraged to be annoyed/frustrated with and why? Both versions imagine a world where romantic relationships are mediated, but not necessarily with the same degree of pessimism. How does the parody use the original song to say something about both past and present romantic relationships and the roles technology play in sustaining/strengthening/undermining them?
