By the Friday deadline, share your work with the class in the Unit 6 Assignment Forum. By the Sunday deadline, review your classmates’ work and provide one reply.
Instructions:
First, you will write a short paper answering the following questions:
What are two causes of negative work-life balance and positive work-life balance?
What was your score on thework-life balance scale? Why do you believe you earned this score?
How might culture impact your work-life balance? Cite and reference at least one scholarly article on the impact of culture on work-life balance. How does the information in this scholarly journal article support or refute your experience regarding how culture affects your work-life balance?
What is one thing you can do to improve your work-life balance? Support your answer with evidence from at least one scholarly journal article.
Next, you will create a visual representation (also known as an infographic) of your paper. You can be creative in making your infographic by using PowerPoint, Piktochart or Canva.
Upload your paper as a Word document to the forum, along with your infographic.
In response to at least one of your classmates:
Comment on your classmates’ paper and visual representation. In your commentary, focus on the content of your classmate’s assignment, rather than stylistic elements.
Offer an alternative explanation to their work-life balance scale scores and/or:
Offer another suggestion to a classmate on how to improve work-life balance based on the scientific literature.
Requirements:
You can be creative with how you present the information in your infographic.
Incorporate all ideas into your own words.
Use appropriate APA placement and style for in-text citations and scholary references. Pose a question for your professor and peers. For your infographic, please do not use Piktochart, although the assignment instructions say to use it. For some reason, it glitches, and students are unable to submit that part when they use it. I strongly recommend using PowerPoint and just making one slide to supplement your written assignment.
