New York was one of two states with a lower age of delinquency along with North Carolina. (revision: NY recently raised its age of delinquency the age was raised from 16th birthday to 18th birthday) There was a bill signed by former Gov. Cuomo into law that
raised the age of delinquency in New York.
Fully research this issue and answer the following questions and draft a research paper

b. Why was the law changed – discuss the rationale for the changes?
2. What were the arguments in support of raising the age of delinquency to 18?
3. What are the arguments against raising the age of delinquency? Be sure to address all opposing arguments despite the change; discuss what happens to victims of juvenile crime now.
