You will select a challenge from the list of scenarios provided in the “Lot in Life” Scenarios Download “Lot in Life” Scenariosdocument. Download this document and review the group of scenarios that you can choose from depending on your last name. Your options have been partially pre-determined so that you can appreciate the unplanned nature of many of life’s experiences. We must learn to adjust and adapt to our “Lot in Life.” You will create a research paper that includes the following information:
1.Identify, define, and describe your challenge.
2.Analyze your “Lot in Life” from a human development perspective—what do scholars and/or researchers have to say about your challenge?
1.Identify what stage of life the person would tentatively be in to encounter the problem.
2.Analyze the impact on at least two of the following: biological, cognitive, and social-emotional development as a result of the challenge.
3.Locate one peer-reviewed research article from the FSCJ library on a topic related to your challenge. Include a detailed summary of each part of the article’s content. This should include the following elements:
1.Research Question—What is the main research question addressed in the article? What are the researchers trying to figure out? What areas of study and variables are they interested in?
2.Methods—What kind of methodology did the researchers use (e.g., Quantitative/Qualitative) How was the study conducted? Who was included in the sample? What other details are provided?
3.Findings—What are the primary outcomes of the study? What kinds of details or analyses are provided in the Results section of the article?
4.Discussion—What are the implications of the study? How do the researchers make sense of their findings? What main points are highlighted in the discussion/conclusion section of the article?
