Wriiting aboutDoes learning about diversity, inclusion and collaboration help students to achieve better student to student relationships?
Critical reflective writing is used to help record and reflect on concepts and ideas that you have been exposed to in-class discussions and content. In this course, reflective writing will be used as way to learn and critically think and reflect about important concepts. Writing assignments will be released a week before the due date.
Directions to learners:
The writing entry should be between 250 to 500 words. There will be two writing entries to complete over the course of the semester.
Writing entries will be marked based on staying on topic, answering the question, including content from modules, class and group discussion and the ability to critically analyze the content. Try to be creative and insightful when providing examples.
The point of critical reflective writing is not to just answer the question but to interpret. Interpretation includes: reflecting and analyzing your learning experience by including examples of what you have learned by making connections from life experiences, from previous courses, and from your own culture.
You may also want to reference another classmate’s point of view that you found interesting and/or consider how your examples may impact your future learning. Perhaps, there was something you learned that surprised you. In addition, maybe the question has lead you to ask more questions which may also be included in your writing entry.
