this week’s Learn section, you watched a video about the importance of
researching competitors in your industry. A competitive analysis is a
critical marketing plan element and will be part of your Week 4
assignment. This discussion will allow you to start your analysis and
gather feedback from your classmates before including it in your first
assignment.
Determine two competitors for the product or service offered by your hypothetical company.
Analyze
the social media presence of each competitor (including platforms,
types of content, the number of followers, and their customer reviews,
including the company response).
Which elements of your competitor’s social media presence are most effective? Where could they improve?
How would you (as the owner of your hypothetical company) use this type of analysis in your own social media marketing strategy?Discuss
your findings with your classmates and use the feedback you receive to
improve this portion of your competitive analysis before including it in
your Week 4 assignment.

Hello
my fellow classmates and Dr. Amans. My name is Chelsea Belton. This is
my first time taking Marketing I currently reside in San Diego. I have 5
beautiful children with my husband. The business I will use for this
course is running a food truck. More so a beverage truck. I figured it
will be exciting to have a business that sale all drinks on wheels! I’m
excited to learn more from this course and to hear you alls wonderful
ideas and insights.
Food trucks are suck a huge thing now especially
across social media they are extremely convenient. When I’m at work
there are at least three different food trucks right outside during my
lunch break. You don’t have to order from far places or travel far! Your
food is right at the door waiting for you! Marketing through social
media is going to be very important. Everything is fine online social
media is the news! I believe if you want your company to get around and
pick up business social networking is important!!
