This past week we have studied the Black Nationalist and Ethnic Consciousness movements as well as the Anti-Vietnam war movement. Using the readings in Bloom and Breines, write a 3-page essay that describes the ways in which these movements dealt with issues that were global or international. You can focus on any number of these movements you wish, but you must engage the text to make your case. Be sure to have a thesis statement and topic sentences that are tied together. Also, ensure that your paragraphs have the evidence that makes the case that these movements dealt with global or international issues.
As with Essay #1 use MLA style formatting and citations.

Essay Outline
I. Introduction with a thesis statement at the end of your introduction that lists 3 points you will discuss in your paper.
II. Body paragraphs with a topic sentence at the beginning of each paragraph. The topic sentence should be directly connected to your thesis statement. The paragraphs should engage the text and support the topic sentences.
III. Conclusion which summarizes your main points and contains your closing argument.
Note: Make sure you use and cite the books with footnotes, to back up your arguments in your paper. Limit your paper the number of pages required.
