This class is all about ethics. We have all encountered unethical situations in our personal and professional lives. However, unethical situations are not the same as unprofessional ones. Using your own words, what is the difference between being unethical and being unprofessional?
Be sure to respond to your classmate’s (Felecia) posts below:
Hello everyone my name is Felecia. Something unique about my background is that my family has some Native Americans in it. It comes from my grandmother and her side of the family. I expect this course to help me learn more about ethics and how it relates to my future career. I would like my future career to be in human resources. I think that unethical behavior is like more wrong intentions. For example, doing something knowing that it is wrong like stealing company time to do personal errands. I think being unprofessional could be making wrong decisions because of a lack of knowledge. For example, taking a personal call while on the sales floor in front of customers.
To receive full credit, remember to write 2 posts in the discussion: one original and one response to another student. Your original should be at least 7 sentences, and your reply should be 4 sentences.
