The term paper must be ANALYTICAL, not descriiptive, and should be approx. 10 pages, double-spaced, 12-point font. Use your Marketing education and/or independent research to analyze some aspects of the organization or industry in which you did your internship.

Job Descriiption and Duties:
1. Assist with managing social media pages of the hotel, copies, and postings for upcoming concerts/events at NRG Park to attract new clientele.
2. Take pictures of Meeting rooms for Marketing collaterals and social media to promote special events and meeting space of the hotel.
3. Assist the General Manager and Director of Sales and Marketing with social media strategy ideas to promote hotel guest rooms and conference rooms.
4. Create flyers with locally negotiated rates to promote the hotel to achieve new business from local businesses.
5. Responsible for soliciting new business to potential clients from companies and creating groups with the group or corporate rates.
6. Responsible for organizing a site tour of the hotel for clients to persuade clients to sign a new contract with the hotel, then create a proposal for the potential client.
A little about the property I am currently working for.
It was Astroworld hotel, which was built in 1969 it has a lot of history, but the current owner bought the property in 2005, the property is very old and it has not been renovated since it was built, so it is really hard to sell but with a Wyndham brand name on the property, it helps to sell a small amount, but we have a long way to go to make this property really successful because the owner refuses to put money to improve the property. Therefore, we as a sales and marketing team have been doing our best to keep the business going even though we do not have as many resources as we should have for us to market and sell the property.
