Team-Based Zoom Debate “Week” on School Districts’ Authority to Censor Off-Campus Online Student Speech v. Students’ Off-Campus Free Speech Rights:
Debate “week” will run in the same manner as the other discussion formats, not “live” on Zoom.
At the start of the week of Aug 1 , you will post what your position is and state your agreement with either team #1 or Team #2.
During the week you will support your team’s position with 3, well stated, significant posts on the discussion stream
Student teams will participate in a Debate “Week” based on your text Oluwole and Green (2016), Chapters 11 and 12. The Debate Week will be configured as follows:
Will argue that students’ off-campus online speech cannot be censored by school districts.
