Students will research additional evidence that supports Burgess’s ideas about student engagement. Research is to include 2-3 sources (sources can be articles, videos, internet sites, etc.) along with a summary to compare/contrast the thoughts and/or ideas Burgess shares with those of the authors of the sources found. In addition, students will include their own thoughts/ideas on how this new learning has impacted their professional practice, including similarities and differences in their own teaching.
This assignment should be 3-5 pages in length. The sources must be recent (written within the last 5-7 years), and each source must be cited.
