Purpose
Research can be a daunting task. Discussing it with others can help reduce anxiety and flesh out aspects of the research you may never have considered. Take this opportunity to learn with your peers. Keep in mind the question you proposal and the research you find in this post can serve as a starting place for your research proposal!
Directions
To begin your research proposal, you first must develop a research question. Using the methods discussed in chapters 2 and 4, develop a question you may like to investigate. Keep in mind the feasibility of your proposal.
First, Create a thread that includes the following information:
State the question. Make sure this question is well-suited for the scientific method.
Describe what you know about this problem. What aspects of your research question have been addressed by others? (Conduct a brief literature review — use the library resources or Google Scholar, not just a simple Google search!) **Here’s a video I created to get you started on finding sources. This video is also linked under “Course Resources” to the left!**
State your initial hypothesis (i.e., a specific, educated guess that provides a testable explanation of a phenomenon).
Cite your source (in text) and provide APA reference list at the bottom of your post. Find at least 1 souhttps://drive.google.com/file/d/1jOADF60IPqPD67o_L-ZS564biU4BXKWp/view?usp=sharingrce (note that you’ll need more for the actual proposal!)
