Overview:
In the previous module, you identified OFIs for your organization (Wounded Warrior Project) and explained why addressing those OFIs is critical for their success. Addressing these OFIs would create positive benefits for WWP. WWP would need to perform some actions to get to that desired future state, assuming that they would not get there by chance. Furthermore, that desired future state would include outputs and outcomes.
For each of the OFIs you identified in the last module, describe outputs and outcomes you would expect from addressing the OFI.
For example, under 2.1 Strategic Planning, you might have identified an OFI that your organization does not have a process for identifying and stimulating innovation. It is critical to have a process for identifying and stimulating innovation because the organization is falling behind competitors as its products and services are not keeping up with customer needs. The ideal future state is an innovation sub-process built into the strategic planning process. The outputs of an innovation sub-process might be new products, services, or better ways of doing business.
For this activity, reuse the document that was turned in in the previous module (see attached titled “WWP OFIs”). After each of your OFI paragraphs, add a paragraph that describes the outputs and outcomes you would expect from addressing the OFI. You may find it useful to separate each Baldrige section under a separate heading for that section. Write a new introduction and conclusion for your document.
Requirements:
– After each of your OFI paragraphs, describe the expected outputs and outcomes for addressing the OFI.
– Write a brief introductory paragraph describing the purpose of the exercise (to add outputs and outcomes to your previous document).
– Write a brief concluding paragraph describing how these actions would affect the overall maturity of the organization.
– Include an updated cover page.
– No citations or reference page is necessary (unless you use a source outside of the Baldrige Excellence Builder).
