Listen, this has to be right as per the instructions this is a process capability study with the objective of Group 5 will evaluate the individual packs of M&Ms for weight variation. The four flavors of M&Ms each have a net weight described. Original flavor net weight of 27g per 2 packs (13.5g per pack) Peanut flavor net weight of 18g per pack Caramel flavor net weight of 16g per pack Peanut Butter flavor net weight of 18g per pack Group 5 will evaluate the individual weights for each flavor using the method described in the Nations Institute for Standard and Technology (NIST) Handbook 133 under Section 5.6 Table 5-1. The number of included flavor packs will be included in the calculation for the total Maximum Allowable Variation by flavor. The group will use the individual pack weight variation data by flavor to understand the distribution of weights using the capability ratio described. The sources of variation will be evaluated to understand the overall Net weight variation for the M&M lovers package.
