I have already started this research paper. I will attach what I have done so far. Also, my professor did check my topic proposal and made some comments on what needed to be fixed I will attach the paper and my professors’ comments.

The question seems to have several different parts to it. You will want to narrow down the question to just one particular focus so that the argument is clear to the reader. It looks like the main question is: What were the objectives of the Chicano Movement?
The thesis is moving in a good direction. I would modify the reason pertaining to cultural hegemony. I think I know what you’re referring to. Maybe you can state the idea as: promoting cultural identity.
