For this discussion, you will conduct an internet search to locate the mission statement for two for-profit or nonprofit early childhood programs or organizations.
In your initial post, please:
*Copy and paste the mission statements you found after your Google search (sure to cite this) and indicate if the organization is for-profit or nonprofit.
*Explain the similarities and differences you see between the mission statements.
Now, hypothesize that these centers are new to your community and that you are mentoring the owners. This week your goal is to assist the new directors in deciding:
1. What community or foundation funding opportunity may be available for each organization if they decide to expand their offerings?
2. What types of government funding may be available?
3. How would you recommend that these directors engage their stakeholders/donors?
3. How else might these directors seek funds for their expansions?
