2. Select a grade level of your choice and one of the following topics:
Phonological Awareness
Phonics
Word Recognition
3. For the topic you chose, use the Lesson Plan Template (attached below) to design a lesson plan using the explicit code of instruction. Then use a fresh copy of the Lesson Plan Template to design a lesson plan using the implicit code of instruction.
4. Submit a document where you briefly explain what you had to alter between the explicit and implicit formats. What advantages and disadvantages are there to each code?
5. Submit all three documents.
