Each student will be required to schedule a site visit to their chosen community agency. Each student will choose a social service site, contact them for a visit and gain knowledge about the inner workings of that agency. Students will need to inquire about the population being served at that site, the services that are offered to clients and what education/qualifications would the student need to work there. Using an outline provided by the professor, students will gather information about the agency and then upload the 10-15 minute presentation in D2L at the end of the semester. Presentations will be due no later than midnight, July 9, 2023. Each student will write a 2-page paper describing what they learned about their site. Paper format will be 12 pt. font, Times New Roman, one inch margins, with cover page.
