1. Supporting Literature: Search a minimum of five literature related to the Proposal topic above. In your review of recent (3 years) empirical literature, what keywords did you search, and in what databases?
2. What social problem prompted you to search the literature to find out more? Write in complete sentences using a scholarly tone.
Social Problem
(a) First, define the social issue and provide evidence (through citation) of its scope and relevance to the discipline of public policy or public administration. This might require that you find up-to-date statistics gathered from the public agency responsible for its collection and interpret trends.

(b) Now, refer to the five studies you have previously summarized in the Supporting Literature Section above and reflect on common findings or common research approaches and consider how researchers have approached the study of the issues to date from the discipline’s perspective. Summarize this body of research (with citation) in a few sentences so you can delineate for the reader what you believe researchers have come to know and what the gaps currently are in the research literature.
