Carefully review the assignment directions and rubric document found within the Week 9 Module. Within this resource, you will find assignment details, checklist, rubric, and template. This assignment has 3 components.
Part A, Title page and brief introduction (1.5-2 pages) to the MS Accountability Standards.
In Part B, the student will create a plan of action to monitor compliance with selected process standards. Select one set of process standards from Operations and one set of process standards from Instructional Practices from the list below. Create a monitoring/ compliance plan for each selected set of standards. You will outline 3 action steps for each set of standards.
School Operations: Standard 13 (13.1-13.5) OR Standard 14 (14.1.4-14.1.11) OR Standard 15.
Instructional Practices: Standard 20 (20.1-20.2) OR Standard 21 (21.1 – 21.2) OR Standard 26 OR Standard 27 (27.1-27.3)
For each set of standards (one set from operations and one set from instructional practices), complete the assignment Part B template components. For example, if you select Standard 13, you will define in detail THREE specific actions to ensure that you remain in compliance with process standards 13.1-13.5.
In Part C, the student will complete a reflection which includes an explanation of why the ability to continuously monitor compliance/ implementation of process standards is a critical function of a school leader and a personal reflection of this activity’s impact on refining leadership knowledge and skills. (Student may include/use information from the previous week’s discussion board in this section). You should cite at least 2 references within your paper and include these on your reference page.
