Because the class will represent a diversity of individual beliefs, backgrounds, and experiences, every member of this class must show respect for every other member of this class. Pretend you are a community psychologist tasked with providing a seminar series on prejudice in children. As part of your presentation, you will explain the cognitive, socioemotional, and cultural factors that underlie the development of prejudice. Using this week’s readings on prejudice, how would you explain the development of prejudice and what recommendations would you make to eliminate prejudice?
