The assessed essay will be up to 1,000 words and correctly referenced in the Harvard style providing in-text citations and end of text references
The essay title will either be chosen from the suggested titles or will be a title devised by the student that is approved by the tutor and should be related to sociological studies of crime and deviance
The essay should contain at least two academic references and should use sociological sources and concepts accurately
The essay should be submitted electronically through Canvas with a Turn It In Originality Report
The essay should have a cover page giving the name, candidate number and the title of the essay
The essay should have either 1.5 or 2.0 spacing (double spacing) and be word processed in a legible font
