Find out when a change occurred in its status. On each country’s dedicated page, there is a detailed explanation of how the country’s political rights and civil liberties scores were determined. Based on the descriptions on the website explain what factors resulted in the status change.

Name of the country you picked (El Salvador)
The years across which the country’s status has changed (e.g. country A was free in 2017 and not free in 2018)
The political rights and civil liberties scores that the country received in each year
To access the pages for each country, visit the Freedom in the World Report’s section of the Freedom House website at https://freedomhouse.org/countries/freedom-world/scores (Links to an external site.). Select one of the annual reports and you should see a dropdown menu on the page to access individual countries’ pages. A similar dropdown menu should also allow you to move between different years on each country’s page.
