Assignment 4 – Case Study 3 – Week 5
1. Preparation:
For this and all the assignments that follow except for assignment 3 in week 4, after being informed by the reading material for the week and taking the self-assessment:
First listen to the instructions from the CEO of ParlaTech animation of the situation and transcript for which he requires your assistance. To locate the message from the CEO, go to Content on the Top Menu Bar > the respective week on the Left Menu Bar > Click on the assignment’s instructions from the CEO of ParlaTech found under the readings for the week. The message is a video animation of the CEO who explains the situation for which he requires your assistance

2. Overview:
The memo for Case Study 3 consists of three parts in addition to the Purpose Statement and Conclusions/Summary:
Your informed description of the relationship between leadership, motivation, and retention (this section is more theoretical and should draw heavily on the literature provided for the definitions of the three terms plus theories/models of leadership, motivation, and how each impacts retaining employees).
Recommendations for a plan of action that addresses both:
The accountability of the organization to all its stakeholders such as the public, regulatory agencies, the leadership team in the United States, the employees, and their families. Recall the risk audit you completed last week about Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DE&I).
ParlaTech employees’ well-being and motivation (this section is more specific than part A about changes in practices, monitoring, programs, and possibly incentives). Explain what you recommend regarding the employee in the hospital as well as the larger employee base.
The action plan could be presented in a graphic such as a Gantt chart or simple chart for easy viewing.
3. Organizations must get ahead of negative perceptions of them in the public eye as well as with their own employees. Design a sample short communication for the CEO (a paragraph of about five sentences will suffice) that can serve as a press release to counter the negative press because of the situation and potentially within the organization.
You may include other information for the CEO you will is helpful and to demonstrate your knowledge.
3. Structure and Mechanics:
Include an academic title page, the memo with its introduction/purpose statement, three parts, conclusions/summary, and reference page.
Begin each memo after addressing the memo to the CEO with a purpose statement for the memo.
Use in-text citations and a reference page presented in APA format of at least 3 academic or professionally credible sources (not Wikipedia or Indeed), preferably from our course material.
Use topic headings to distinguish each section of the memo. If topic headings are not included, the memo may be returned to you before grading. Topic headings guide the author of the memo to help ensure all elements of the assignment are included and helps to focus the individual receiving the memo on the key points.
