Get permission to teach a lesson on a topic and grade level of your choice. Create a lesson plan using the suggestions for planning discussed in this chapter. Then teach the lesson while the classroom teacher either observes you or records it. Ask the classroom teacher to give you feedback. Then view the recording, and write an analysis of the lesson that includes your assessment and how it compares to the classroom teacher’s feedback.
