In this assignment, you will develop a PowerPoint presentation describing Planning for Professional Development. Create an 8-slide presentation with no more than six bullets per slide and no more than six words per bullet. The 8 slides include the title and reference slide as one each. The remaining slides need to be the content. Please do not go over 8 slides. The title page must include the title of the paper, your name, school, course, faculty name/title, and date. References must be current (five years and less to date) and credible/scholarly. A minimum of two references is required.
Your slides will be listed as follows:
Title slide
Identify Professional Development (In this section you will identify the different elements/concepts of Professional Development.)
Keys to Maintaining Competency (In this section you will discuss the need for competency and continuing education.)
Professional Practice Models (In this section you will give a brief description of the emerging Practice Models in nursing or the community.)
Professionalism (In this section you will define discuss what are the traits of Professionalism)
References
Each slide must include detailed speaker notes to enhance the bullets on your slides. Your speaker notes act as your script when you are presenting. Please follow APA style and include citations in your speaker notes.
Include graphics on each slide of the presentation.
Include at least two current scholarly references (less than five years old) in your presentation. Your references must be in APA format and listed on the last slide. No blog, chat, other university, or Wikipedia information is allowed in the presentation. The PowerPoint presentation must follow APA style.
