Business strategy consult. Perform a business strategy consultation. Pick any person and business
you want (could be your parent’s neighbor, your boss, a coffee shop….anything). List the business’s
goals and how the organization measures performance relative to their goals. With the help of the
business owner(s)/manager(s), perform a SWOT analysis. With the client or on your own, focus on at
least 2 additional topical areas (i.e., 2 Chapters—non SWOT) and provide recommendations based on
the principles of strategy. Any brief with 2 or more grammatical/spelling/formatting errors will
receive a score of 0.
The brief is to be 4 – 7 pages and contain:
1. Executive summary: bullet points: problem description/question(s) of interest;
recommendations and limitations, 1-page maximum, stand-alone
2. Business description (goals and measurements towards) and questions of interest
3. SWOT analysis (graphics preferable)
4. Additional analysis 1
5. Additional analysis 2
6. Recommendations
7. Limitations of your analysis
