The field of International Relations developed as an academic discipline approximately 100 years ago. Please write an essay in which you provide an overview of the development of the field and outline the primary theoretical approaches and schools of thought that have emerged over the past century. After reviewing the field, please select a contemporary international issue and analyze it using two distinct International Relations theoretical lenses. Please be sure to include appropriate evidence and examples to support your answer throughout.
