The class is a sex/gender and culture class, 200 level in college, but pretty relaxed.
The paper needs to be at least 5 pages doubled spaced, and there should be at least 2-3 sources from the class cited. I will attach those below.
The paper is on the film “Hidden Figures” which is about three African American women working at Nasa during the space race and, of course, the civil rights movement.
It should primarily focus on the idea of “intersectionality” and how their roles as women (and equally black women), unjustly handicap them in society. The film clearly portrays them as not only incredibly smart and capable at their respective jobs, but breaking the mold of traditional gender roles.
