Reflection
Identify and discuss the three concepts that you learned which are most significant to you (personal life, current/future career, etc.). What stands out the most for you; what are you most likely to remember in a few months? Discuss each concept in a separate paragraph. Each paragraph should include 1) a clear identification of the concept, 2) an accurate explanation of the concept in your own words, and 3) an analysis of why this concept is significant to you.
Investigation
Be curious! Explore a concept more deeply or seek the answer to a question that came up for you. The topic of your investigation needs to be relevant to course content. You must use at least one scientifically-valid source (not the course textbook) to learn more the topic. In the paper, 1) identify the topic of your investigation, and 2) in your own words, explain what you learned through your investigation. Include appropriate in-text and end citations (MLA or APA Style).
Pop-culture
Find a pop-culture reference that is related to a concept covered in class (textbook, in-class lecture, or other activity/assignment). The pop-culture reference can be something from social media, a tv show or a movie, a fiction book, a video game, a meme, a news story, a TikTok video, etc. Applying what you know about the psychology concept, analyze the pop-culture reference. What psychology concept is illustrated by the pop-culture reference? Is the concept is portrayed accurately or not in the pop-culture reference? (Note: I’m not assessing your pop-culture reference selection; I want to see if you connect a relevant psychology concept to something in your broader world, and discuss it.)
