Describe, in your opinion, the most concerning issue facing proponents seeking to end family violence. Consider preventative strategies for societal improvement. For example, if you chose intimate partner violence as your issue, describe it, and list strategies for ending it. It is important to remember the societal approach to implementation of your strategy. How can we, at the macro-level, work to end family violence? If applicable, consider your personal believe structure, especially in regards to patriarchy and social learning to explain the fundamental causes of family violence. Remember that determining social factors in causation are the first step in prevention. I encourage you to be as honest as you feel comfortable, as many students have faced violence in their personal lives.
