Choose a tale from The Canterbury Tales or Read it and tell us what you thought. As with all forums in this class, this is informal. Don’t worry about paragraphing or format, but do cite sources in-text, check spelling, and write in complete sentences.
For a Canterbury tale from The Canterbury Tales: No Fear Translation | SparkNotes
· First, tell us an interesting fact about the author or setting of the story historically (cite source).
· Then tell us about the narrator of the story; what kind of person is he or she? What does he or she look like? What might Chaucer be saying through this character? You may quote or paraphrase from The General Prologue.
· Then summarize the story, however briefly you want as long as we get the plot, but be sure to include the most interesting parts.
· Finally, what do you think about it? Did you like it? Why or why not?
