Your paper is to be 1750-2,000 words in length (2200 maximum, not including notes and bibliography).
Paper topic:
How did monumental architecture reflect society and the political state of Egypt (choose one period)? You may consider the art as well.
Number of sources:
Primary sources: as many as needed. In some circumstances, that number might be small (e.g., question 3). In other topics, you might draw on many different sources.
Secondary sources: you need a minimum of the following:
· 2 monographs (an academic book, usually written by one author that focuses on a specific topic; e., not a textbook or general history)
· 2 academic journal articles and/or contributions to edited volumes (an edited book with many individual authors)
