In the Metamorphosis Gregor provides to his family through his work, When his transformation from a human to a bug occurs, We can see that the family realizes that they can no longer depend on Gregor and have to work. This change is for the good because they understand that life is not free-handed and learn to work for what they need. Gregor’s dad doesn’t take his uniform off because he feels that pride of working and not being maintained by his son, something he didn’t feel before, the family also finds unity, by knowing they have to work as a team and find jobs in order to keep them going. In the process they find struggle again needing to care for Gregor, so they find peace and tranquility after Gregor dies, which from the families point of view this transformation has only made them evolve, understand life, and value what they have even though it was no easy fight.
