Option #1: In the last few years, there has been a refocus on the return of Jesus and various responses by the Christian church.
Based on your reading of 1 and 2 Thessalonians, write a paper outlining Paul’s suggestions for a proper response by Christians to the imminent return of Jesus Christ.
How would you apply Paul’s suggestions to hearing about contemporary examples of people predicting the return of Christ?
Option #2: Based on your reading of 1 and 2 Timothy and the assigned readings this week, outline the nature of the false teaching Paul was warning against and the dangers he was worried could affect the church in Ephesus.
Do you think some of these same dangers are still relevant today? Why or why not?
