What are the options for addressing the issue?
What is the academic argument (please use 2-3 academic sources, journals. Make use of the databases available at the library). Conclusions?
What do the pundits (newspaper columnists) have to say on the issue? Find and discuss two. What is their approach or bias (see the link on how to identify bias in our Part I and Part II folders.
How do interest groups/think tanks approach the issue? Find and discuss two. What is their approach or bias?
What are the pros and cons of each, in your view?
How would you propose to fix it? What would that look like as a constitutional amendment? From what approach are you coming (ideology, partisanship, etc.) Identify your own bias.
Papers must be double-spaced, with reasonable (1″) margins and font sizes (12 pt max). Papers must have introductions and conclusions and must have citations.
