What does it mean to be an American?

will address the following question: What does it mean to be an American? Exploring
your family’s background, my moms side is Haitian and my dad is Jamaican describe who you are and what makes you an American?
Include topics such as:
Religious beliefs I am catholic
Use of language
Socioeconomic status (education, employment, etc.) I am in college I am 18 , I am a girl , I have a small family
In addition, is there any aspect of your identity that you believe limits your ability to
achieve the American Dream?
I want my paper to include racism that us African American Americans face and do not have the same Privilege as Caucasians and I also want to mention some of the positives being an American
