What are your thoughts on the treatment of intersex individuals (or community) in our society? What impact did John Money (and others like him) have on how society has treated the intersex community? Include thoughts about how the intersex community has been treated within the GLBTQ+ community.

Prompt #2: Gender in Medicine
How have we seen (and do we still see) the negative impact of having gender bias or lack of gender representation in medical research? Provide a specific example. For example, what medical condition impacts one gender(s) more than another? And how does that condition impact the quality of life of those living with the condition? How does the disparity show up? How could treatments be different/more effective if medicine went beyond the gender binary and included intersex individuals in medical trials/research?
