In this lesson, you will learn more about external selection of employees by discussing substantive and contingent selection assessment methods. In addition, you will learn that internal selection refers to the assessment and evaluation of employees from within an organization as they move from job to job via transfer and promotion systems.

Lesson 6:
In your opinion, write a two-page paper explaining why you think it is best to hire employees from within or externally? Give three pros and cons of hiring within or externally.
