Wal-Mart is the company I chose.
For the strategy report, select a company to analyze, perhaps one that you frequent or one from the Fortune 500 List. Alternatively, you could analyze the company you work for, though you should be sure you can find enough published references.
For the first part of the strategy report, write a short section (~2 pages) covering the history of the company and providing context on their current situation. When was the company founded? What are important milestones from its history? What is the company’s current size? How many locations and employees? Look at the company through the lens of innovation. How are they innovative? Do their innovative strengths give them a competitive advantage over other companies in their industry?
You should find and reference a few (at least 3-4) news articles to give background on the company’s current situation. I would also suggest looking at annual reports or other financial filings.

Submit in Microsoft Word .doc/.docx file format
Include a cover sheet with your name, your paper title, the date, and the paper’s word count
Times New Roman, 12 pt font
1-inch margins on all sides (top, bottom, left, and right)
~2-4 pages of text (~1,000-1,500 words)
List all references you use
