In this assignment, you will demonstrate your knowledge of the key functions, roles, responsibilities, and competencies that managers in the health care industry must possess by conducting research and preparing an analysis.

Use the following structure to organize your analysis:
Title Page
Be sure to follow current APA guidelines for a title page.
Introduction
Compose a short descriiption of what the paper will cover, allowing the reader to know what to expect.
Section 1 Title: Health Care Managers – Roles, Functions, Responsibilities, and Competencies
Identify the roles, responsibilities, and competencies of a health care manager.
Why is ensuring high performance in each role so critical?
Compare and contrast the key competencies (skills) of health care managers.
Identify key functions carried out by health care managers.
Think about functions that include planning, organizing, and staffing, and provide an example of a task performed within each function.
Section 2 Title: Strategic Planning
Explain the purpose and importance of the strategic planning process.
Provide examples of 2–3 key health care market trends and explain how these trends might affect the job of a health care manager. How would a manager need to react and prepare for them?
