This week, you will construct an e-learning scenario that will serve as the context for your work throughout the course. You may use an authentic scenario from your current or future personal or professional life. You can also construct a completely fictional scenario. Whatever the source of your scenario, the key is to describe the scenario with as much detail as possible. The one exception is to use pseudonyms (pretend names) for any actual organizations or individuals in order to protect their privacy.
In your assignment, be sure to:
Offer a title for your e-Learning scenario (e.g., “Teaching Stage 1 of Understanding by Design to New Teachers” or “Onboarding for Rural PRN Nurses”).
Describe the organizational context for the e-Learning scenario (e.g., corporate Learning & Development department, urban school district).
Identify the individuals and groups who play a role in your e-Learning scenario, including any concerns or opportunities related to diversity, equity, or inclusion.
Explain the learning problem with significant details; what is the identified gap in knowledge or skills? For this course, you will need to focus on a narrow part of the learning need. Contact your professor for help if you aren’t sure whether your learning need is narrow enough.
Ensure that your learning problem allows for an e-learning solution.
Discuss why you think the narrow learning gap on which you will focus calls for a teacher-centered or student-centered approach.
Add details that make your scenario an interesting story.
Length: 4-6 pages, excluding title and reference pages
References: Include a minimum of one scholarly source, cited and referenced in APA style.
